The New (and Improved) Ramirez Family Webspace

Welcome to our new update page! Due to our Verizon woes, we don't have our old server up and running, so our former website is "temporarily" down. Who knows when it might come back up... so in the meantime... here's a new page for pictures and updates of Alex and family. Besides, all the cool kids have blogs!

What have you missed since the old site went down? Well, for starters, Albert graduated from his residency program at UT Southwestern (whoo hoo). He is currently studying for his rehabilitation boards and preparing to begin medical practice in Decatur, TX. We moved from our little townhome in Dallas, TX to a big house in Justin,TX. We went from a little over 1,000 square feet to a little under 3,000! And where is Justin, TX, you ask? 25 miles due north of Fort Worth, 2 miles west of the Texas Motor Speedway and 9 miles from the nearest anything. It's practically "country-livin'" to us city folk, but it's a quiet, safe, friendly neighborhood where there are always kids playing in the street and neighbors bringing you dinner. Besides, it's half-way between Libby's work in Southlake and Albert's new job in Decatur so it's quite convenient. Also, on another note, Alex got his first two teeth! How's that for a month's progress?

We are loving having so much more room in the new house. Mali has a yard, Alex has a playroom, Libby has a big kitchen, and Albert has a garage. Everyone is happy! Plus, Alex now has his own room and a real crib, so Mommy, Daddy and Alex are
all getting more sleep these days!

Hi guys,
We sure do miss you. Alex is absolutely adorable. YOur house is beautiful, and we are very happy you have so much room. Having other little ones to play with is so good for Alex. He will love having all his friends over to his big house to play someday. I met your new tenant -- what a nice guy. I told him to let me know if he needed anything. Take care, and please keep in touch.
Love,
Susan
