Alex's new trick

Alex learned a new trick recently. The first few times he did it, we weren't really sure what he was trying to do. He would hold his hand out and rub his fingers together. But he kept practicing, and soon we recognized it as waving! He now waves at us, Mali when she walks by, and all the animals at the clinic when he comes up to visit on the weekends. Sometimes he gets such a serious face, as if he has to concentrate really hard on what he's doing. It's very cute. His other new trick is turning on and off light switches. Quite a fun game that is!
