Alex has a new face that he just started making one day. He scrunches up his eyes, nose and mouth into a sort of pout, then makes a sniffing sound with his nose. We have no idea where it came from, he just started doing it one day. He does it in his high chair (and then cracks himself up), or when we pretend we are hurt (our attempt at teaching him not to hit people with toys). It's really very cute, and now of course we make the face back at him when he does it and he thinks that is hilarious. But the funniest part of the whole thing was that this weekend Albert's parents were here visiting. They took one look at his new face and just started laughing. Apparently, Albert did the exact same thing when he was a baby! See Albert, there is more to paternity than hair and eye color!
Or as Albert pointed out... maybe all babies do this and we as first-time parents just have no idea?

That is so funny! I'm glad you got two pictures of the same face!
We also have noticed recently a face that Whitney makes by squinting her eyes. At first I thought something was wrong, but now we just think it is hilarious. I'll have to try and capture it too...
