Fruits and veggies

Alex mostly eats what we eat now. Last night while I was at work, he and Albert grilled hamburgers and hotdogs for dinner. Albert said it was comical watching him trying to figure out what to do with the corn-on-the-cob. But with only two bottom teeth, Albert eventually had to cut it off the cob for him. So far, he's still a little suspicious of the green veggies. Peas are good, green beans are bad, and shelled edamame was a new favorite for the week. Funny how he knows the difference between a fruit and a vegetable, because green grapes (peeled, of course) are a favorite. Great-grandpa Phil would be so proud, because cherry tomatoes are another of Alex's favorites, something he always tried (unsuccessfully) to get me to like as a kid.

I can tell that Alex was starting his dinner as it is still on his plate and not on his face ! What a cutie pie ! Grammy B
