Alex's 4th Birthparty: SuperEverything

Super Dogs for All

World's Greatest Superhero Cake (complete with Batman, Batcave,
Batmobile, Gotham City and various Superfriends). Can you believe
BeBe's SuperCakeMakingPower??

Amazing Alex and some of his Superfriends
(Superheros are notoriously hard to get to pose for pictures...
Too busy saving the World, I guess. Here's about half of them.)

Cape view

Silly String War (A HUGE hit with all the
Superfriends and Superparents alike.)

SpideyJosh (who has incessantly carried around at least 1
Superhero figure from the cake since the party.
Found one in his bed this morning even.)

SuperCookie Party Favors

I owe a HUGE thank you to all the Superhelpers... especially BeBe and Auntie Mack's Supercake/Supercookie/Power Jello Shooter/and Mask-making special powers but let's not forget Consulting, Management & Janitorial Services! Also a SuperDad's awesome rastorizing magic that transformed regular wall-art into superhero posters for the party. And to Super Mark's Dad, Kevin, who graciously agreed to be my Supervillan. Couldn't have done it without you all!

And a special thanks to Abuelito, Nona, Tio and Tia Diaz who made the trip from Houston to celebrate with Alex and his Superfriends!

Last but not least, thanks to all the Superfriends & Family that came to celebrate with us. It was a BLAST!

p.s. Anyone know how to clean up SillyString from concrete?? The parts that stuck to shrubbery dried up and disintegrated. Presumably the same should have happened to the driveway residue but it's been really damp out so it's more or less adhered to the driveway. Not that we really care. It was SO worth it!

We wish we could have been there. Unfortunately we couldn't escape from the Fortress of Solitude.

Wow! Alex's Superhero Birthday Party was fantastic! I'm so sorry I missed it but I went to meet my brother who was visiting the U.S. from Amsterdam. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make the party a big success. The personalized Superhero capes were really cute and it looks like everyone had a wonderful time. What a good idea for a party! Thanks again! John Peter (age 4),Elaine and Richard.
