4th of July

Uncle Scott and Aunt Jackie were able to come visit for 4th of July!  We were so glad to see them, and hopefully didn't sent them home with any toddler illnesses.  Alex had 4-5 days of fever, a positive strep test and got put on antibiotics before they came.  We thought (mistakenly) that we were home free after a week, but on the 10th and final day of Alex's antibiotics, Josh spiked a fever!  And he didn't respond to the same antibiotic so unfortunately he had 4-5 days of fever too, right during 4th of July and their visit.  Auntie Mack was at least spared the germs when she got stuck in New York with a temporary job over the holidays, but we all missed her a lot and hope we can see her soon!

So, between visitors coming and going, work (holidays are our busiest time at the animal er), kids with fever, and trips to the pedi, we were busy and it went by in a blur. 

I never even managed to take a single photo... but luckily Scott and Jackie did.  Here's a few of theirs.
