Joshie Joshie, You are SO three!

Josh doesn't like to sleep in his room. He blames it on "the air", as that room gets pretty good air conditioning and there is a vent right above his bed. Other times he blames it on being lonely, and prefers to sleep in Alex's bed, our bed or the dog bed where he gets more company.

Albert had a great idea the other day... we picked up his toddler bed and moved it into Alex's room. That way he could still have his own bed (i.e. less pinching, kicking, and whining about who gets which side at bedtime), but not be lonely or under the air vent. So that's what we did.

What did Joshie think? He walked right back to his room, pointed at the flattened carpet where the toddler bed had been, and said, "Hey Mom, know what? That would be a good place to sleep!"

I've been telling Josh for a while now that when he turns three (in Nov), that getting carried all over the place ends and he has to walk like a big boy. He totally gets it, but has taken to workin' it as long as he can. His newest trick, flying off the top of the stair landing to jump into the arms of any adult that will carry him, yelling in midflight, "I'm two and a half! Carry me!!"
