Yesterday, Josh and I spent the morning vacuuming and shampooing the minivan carpets. Ice on gum does not work nearly as well as I thought it would. However, Nona's advice to use club soda on the chocolate milk stains on the upholstered ceiling totally worked! And they were like 4 year old stains that I had figured were now permanent additions to the minivan! Anyway, when we slung the vacuum hose over the arbor to let it drip dry, a bird flew off and watched us cautiously from the neighbor's roof.
Josh quickly figured out where the bird had come from...
We climbed up to take a peek, expecting maybe to count some eggs. But look what we found instead...
We quietly took down the hose and hid in the garage for a minute. Of course mama bird returned shortly to keep her babies warm.
Must be Spring! (Although it already feels like summer... I think the high was 94 yesterday!)
