NERF Party... Alexs turns 7!!

I still need to go back and post first day of school pics and such... but here's what we were up to last weekend!  NERF party under the bridge.  Abuelito and Nona came up for the weekend, Poppa J arrived packing a concealed (vintage, nonetheless) NERF gun, Bebe made a delicious cake, Auntie Mack came from New York to be there and lots of family and friends came to help us celebrate!

It was COLD, but we played outside anyway.  At least it was dry!  Albert and Abuelito worked all morning to build cardboard box forts and we all headed out under the bridge (hey, who else can say they once had a birthday under an overpass??) for several rounds of capture the flag and last man standing.  I think the Dads had just as much fun as the kids.  Hard to capture though, because no one would stand still for long!  Then back to the house to warm up and have cake and presents.
