We have had a busy couple of weeks here. My parents bought a house in Shady Shores, about 25-30min drive from us, that has been sitting vacant since December. It took a while to get everything in order and get moved, but THEY'RE HERE now and WE'RE GLAD TO HAVE THEM NEARBY!! They arrived almost two weeks ago with one Explorer, two cats and a lovebird, a little tired but none the worse for the trip. They spent several days staying with us while getting settled, but now have gotten everyone moved in to the new house. Still facing the daunting task of unpacking every last box and finding new places to put everything, but little by little, it is coming along. Oh, and course facing new challenges daily like getting the pool back to sparkling, buying a riding lawn mower/tractor (two, actually), getting used to the plethora of unfamiliar bugs in TX, and starting a new job (same company) for my Dad.
Will try to get some pics of Grammy and Poppa in their new house up someday... might be a while before all the unpacking is finished!
