4th of July Photos

We spent the Fourth of July at my parent's house. They had a small gathering of family, friends and neighbors... and surprisingly enough, it was the first (and only day) lately that DIDN'T rain! Here are a few photos from the party, nap time and all. Oh, and a trip to see the helicopter in a neighbor's hangar. Then a family photo from the outdoor fireworks show on our street. Alex enjoyed watching the neighborhood kids set them off, but had to be prompted to actually look UP and see the results! He did like it though, clapping his hands and saying "mas, mas" after every one.
