Wish I had known about this before!  Alex has grown two sizes of pants in the last two months, meaning that all of his school uniforms are suddenly too small.  I was trying to ignore it, hoping that the weather warmed up soon and he could get by with his shorts until summer because then he starts a new school with new uniforms in the fall.  And if this keeps up, who knows what size pants he will be wearing in the fall!  But then he put holes in the knees of his last two pairs of pants and we were out of options.  It's out of season enough that all the school uniform sections in the stores are bare right now.  Wandering into Sears after trying a school uniform store, Children's Place and Old Navy with no luck, they had chinos ON SALE.  AND A HOLES-IN-THE-KNEES GUARANTEE.  Just what I needed!  Can you believe they cover shoes too?  I know some of my friends do the Stride-rite thing because of their guarantee, but it just wasn't convenient for us so we've been replacing pair after pair of Target tennis shoes because the boys wear through them like nothing, even though we make them wear "play shoes" for riding bikes and playing outside.  Sears shoe department, here we come!
