First Teeth

Notice anything new? That's right... two teeth and a top one on its way.

Josh seems like he's 8 months going on 14. He has to to keep up with Alex! He pulls up on everything and has been seen occasionally letting go with both hands for a second or two. He crawls anywhere he wants to and balances to sit without falling over most of the time. He recently discovered that he can pull open all unsecured drawers and cabinets. He loves to eat and so far the only thing I've found he really doesn't seem to like is baby peaches. He's developed a pretty good pincher grasp so table foods are starting to actually make it to his mouth instead of his lap- although like all babies- tossing the bowl off the high chair tray into the floor is still most fun. He smiles 98% of the time, loves anyone who shows him attention but is starting play favorites with people he recognizes, and sleeps in his crib in his own room every night now. He makes all kinds of new noises including Dah-Dah but doesn't seem to do it meaningfully yet. How could you NOT fall in love with those big brown eyes and Texas-sized smile?? We sure have!!
