We drove to Houston last weekend to spend time with Albert's family. His parents and his grandmother are leaving tomorrow for Columbia- his parents for a 3 week vacation, and his grandmother to return to her home in Bucaramanga after a few year stay here in the States. We were glad we got to see them before they left, and they had a lot of fun (as always) spoiling Alex and Josh. I didn't take a single pic the entire time we were there, so Abuelito Joaquin or Tio Brian will have to send me one if they have a good one.
On the way back home, we got word that Poppa J and company were returning too. My Dad bought a plane (empty hangar syndrome) and spent a week flying it home from Seattle with my cousin's Father-in-law Tim who just happens to be a instructor for the glass cockpit Diamond DA40. Cool plane and no more empty hangar! On the way here, they stopped in Orange County and picked up Aunt Pammy... so we are enjoying the week with her here in Dallas!
On top of that, the new Animal Emergency Hospital finally got completed and the move to the new building was yesterday. It's exciting to see after so long of looking at plans and blueprints. Lots of new toys, lots of new faces, and lots of new space. It's going to be great! Will get some pictures up soon when I get the updated webpage done. Give me a month, or maybe two...
And as for trains, well not this time around. Unless you count the Thomas the Tank Engine track that is usually dismantled and scattered around our living room floor.
