First Babysitter

Okay, so we finally worked up the courage to leave Alex with a babysitter for the first time on Saturday. Maybe it wasn't so much fear that prevented us from doing it earlier, as much as we just LOVE his company and didn't want to leave! And we've left him with family before and his daycare provider, just never a real Saturday-night babysitter. We went to a dinner for the physicians at Wise County Regional Hospital and our 13-year old neighbor watched Alex. They had a great time playing and she said he drank his bottle, went straight to sleep and never woke up. We only checked our phones for emergency messages six times... pretty good I think for first time parents! (And it was fun to get dressed up and go out to a grown-up event.)
